A new year

Ran on the beach yesterday. first time on the beach in ages, and it was beautiful...but...I had a stinging pain in my right calf at the 50 min mark of the run. My muscles had been sore the whole time, and that was the worst! I had to walk back from about bathtub rock on torrey pines beach back to the cars. i hope this does not last.
