July: month of redemption or further backsliding

  • Weight: 175.2
  • Plan: 5 mile run
  • Actual: 5.6 mile run
  • How it felt:
    • not to stiff or sore in the am - ran around 9:30 or so and it was till despite the record west coast heat wave
    • a hilly little route, not all the fun at current weight
    • felt like I was running faster than 8:37/mile, but that was my real speed.  Need to live in that world of harsh reality
    • doing the "shake a day" plan with protein, bananas and strawberries
