Conditions: perfect.
Morning weight/sleep/nutrition:169.2/7.5, 6 hours sleep
Pre-Stretching today: Used the TP Roller this morning when I woke up
How it felt: Again, it was hard. I cannot tell if I'm not ever recovering, or just old. I'm eating more and doing massage, and stretching, etc., but not making the breakthrough I thought I would by now. I knew that going into today's run after last Sunday's half and this week's workouts. I'm tired. I began ok at 6:38/mile, but then quickly tired and my HR for mile 1 was a comfortable 142, but then it floats up every mile: mile#2 7:15 HR 147, mile#3 6:54 HR 152, Mile #4 6:53 HR 154, Mile #5 6:58 HR 157, Mile #6 7:04 HR 157, Mile #7 7:10 HR 157, Mile #8 7:06 HR 158 - so my HR was over 90% of maximum during the last 4 miles of the marathon pace run. Clearly I cannot keep that up for 26 miles.
