running? what's that? you mean - without being chased?


Issues: left foot injury near the top of my foot where the ball is. close to the big toe. hard to walk for a week, then it got better the second week and today feels ok.  I'm feeling slow of course, but it was not all that bad out there today. Saturday at noon on July 26th - beauty of a sunny day in carmel valley. Hot even.

How many times have I run this 6.2 mile course? 2 times/week for 10 years? a thousand times? seems like it.  Today I finally feel like my left foot is not sore any longer. I jogged it and sped up just for fun a couple times, but then slowed right back down as my HR sped up a lot.
